Jean and Dave Anderson of Minto have been recognized with this years Wishbone Award from Think Turkey which honours holiday heroes who share their passion with fighting food insecurity.
Every year the Andersons host their annual Christmas Dinner which feeds over 300 people.
The Andersons 8th annual Christmas Day dinner will take place on the 25th with volunteers also welcomed to help with food prep on December 24th or to help with delivering meals or to donate.
The Wishbone Award honours 8 every year which also included Barb and Ashley of Walkerton who once a week host 40 people for a warm meal and good company while also hosting over Thanksgiving and Christmas.
