Huron County has launched a cookbook, celebrate the growing cultural diversity seen across the community.
The book dubbed, Tastes Like Home: Around the World in Huron County celebrates comfort, connection and creative expression through food.
Recipes include from areas in South Africa, Poland, Syria, American and Dutch.
Manager of the Huron County Local Immigration Partnership, Mark Nonkes says with 52 languages spoken in Huron County, it shows many immigrants have chosen to call Huron home and the cookbook helps celebrate their culinary heritage.
Copies are available from any Huron County Library branch costing $15.
