West Grey Fire Service has been named as the recipient of this year’s Enbridge Gas Safe Community Project Assist Campaign.
Enbridge Gas has put up $5000 for West Grey Fire for the purchase of essential firefighting training materials made through the Fire Marshal’s Public Fire Safety Council.
With the grant, West Grey Fire has been able to purchase International Fire Service Training Association training manuals which will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high quality training to their firefighters.
Mayor Kevin Eccles says ensuring firefighters have the necessary training to safely answer calls has always been a top priority.
