Stratford is looking to find ways to do more and support the homeless over the winter.
Outreach workers across the city and various agencies such as OPP and Stratford Police are planning to hand out care kits to those who are without a place to stay.
The kits are complete with community services and phone numbers, locations for warming centres as well as single use hand and glove warmers, bus passes, socks and lip chap.
A housing a homelessness community consultation was held last night which included a presentation from the Social Services Housing Division and a discussion in groups with facilitators.
