OPP are reminding hunters to always think about safety while out in the woods for hunting season.
OPP West says this comes after an errant round struck a home in Cayuga on Friday.
While no injuries were reported in the incident, the Ministry of Natural Resources are investigating.
Police ask hunters to handle their firearms with care and attention at all times, to never shoot unless they are certain of their target and what lies beyond it, that it’s illegal to shoot from, down or across a public road in any part of the province and firearms must be unloaded and encased from 30 minutes after sunset to 30 minutes before sunrise.
