It’s a busy month for the Wellington County Museum and Archives who have a variety of events going for October.
Held every year, Cemetery Tours will once again be held on October 20th, 21st, 27th and 28th which explores the burial sites of the former Poor House as well as the Murder Mystery Nights on the 27th and 28th.
Katie Clarke, Museum Programming Supervisor says while they do have a variety of kid friendly events, some others such as the cemetery tours might not be for all.
“We don’t hold back on the stories so we suggest that anyone younger than 14 does not join the cemetery tours just due to content and language. It’s a great date night for those interested in the more macabre stories of the county” said Clarke.
Clarke adds whether you’ve been a regular attendee for the events or giving it a try for the first time, the museum and archives is a must stop for the month in Wellington County with the rich level of history it provides.
