A man and a woman are facing multiple charges after an incident at a business in Wellington North.
Wellington County OPP responded to theft on Main Street North just before midnight on October 1st with the caller saying the suspect was on the scene with their vehicle.
Police arrived and arrested a 49 year old Guelph who faces multiple charges including;
Operation while Impaired, Failure or Refusal to Comply with Demand, Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Cocaine, Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Opioid (other than heroin) and with Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Methamphetamine
A 46 year old woman of West Grey has also been charged with Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Cocaine, Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Opioid (other than heroin) and with Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Methamphetamine.
Both will appear in Guelph court in November.
