Another long weekend means another safety campaign for the OPP.
Operation Impact runs until October 9th with police looking to prevent fatal accidents on provincial police patrolled roads who so far have lost 278 lives.
Drivers are being reminded that safe behaviors behind the wheel are the single biggest factor in getting through the long weekend.
Police will aim to focus on ensuring no drive is seen speeding, driving impaired or any other risky behavior.
So far this year OPP have responded to nearly 55,000 accidents.
