In a way to help support CIBC’s Run for the Cure, Independent Pro Wrestling is putting a show in Listowel early next month.
The show being put up on October 1st will see all proceeds, wrestling services and staff being donated to the Listowel leg of the Run for the Cure event.
Mike Shea with IPW says this event and being able to donate for Run for the Cure is something special for him.
“They know how much cancer means to me my sister passed away from it in 2008 and when I announced this, 90 per cent of the guys messaged me and said they were in.” said Shea.
The Listowel wrestling show dubbed “Giving Back 2023” hits with a bell time of 2pm at Parkview Gardens.
Tickets are available at 2nd Chances as well as at the door of the event costing $20.
