Due to staffing shortages the Wingham & District Hospital emergency department will see overnight closures for the long weekend.
Going from Friday-Sunday the ED will close daily at 5pm and reopen at 7am the following day. Later next week the emergency department will close at 5pm on September 8th reopening at 7am.
Paramedics will remain available who will reroute to the nearest open emergency department.
