Perth County OPP are investigating another sextortion scam in the area.
On August 24th at around 12:11pm, OPP were contacted about the incident.
The victim says they met the suspect on social media with a video being shared.
The victim then received messages demanding money or the video would be shared to the public.
A single payment was made to an unknown individual in which a 2nd payment was demanded.
Police are reminding residents to always think twice before sharing any intimate photos and videos online and if someone demands payment or threatens to share any photos or videos to never pay the money, screenshot the messages, block them on social media and contact police.
