A Listowel officer has been cleared of wrongdoing in an investigation of a womans fall from a balcony.
The Special Investigations Unit began investigation after police were called to an apartment on April 19th for a 40 year old woman who was wanted for breaching terms of her release when she removed her monitoring device.
When officers knocked there was no answer and after police entered the apartment she jumped from the balcony resulting in multiple fractures.
The SIU ruled saying there was no reasonable grounds to believe an officer committed a criminal offence with the womans fall.
