West Perth has announced Greg Borduas as the newest Chief Administrative Officer, replacing Jeff Brick who will retire after serving the role since 2015.
Borduas will begin his role as of September 11th who brings in over 15 years of experience in the CAO position.
In a release, West Perth says Bourduas is well positioned to address the evolving needs of the community and lead the municipality through various challenges.
“I am looking forward to joining the Municipality of West Perth team, and I am excited about working with Council, Staff and the Community in this role” commented Mr. Borduas. “The communities within West Perth are vibrant and welcoming places to work and live, and it is a privilege to be selected to provide leadership to plan for future growth and to deliver services for the benefit of all of West Perth’s residents and businesses.”
To help with the transition, Jeff Brick will stay with the municipality until the end of September and ensure a smooth transition.
Mayor Walter McKenzie expressed his gratitude to Jeff for his exceptional leadership, dedication and contributions to West Perth over the past 8 years.
