Perth County is celebrating its 2023 Cultivating Opportunity Grant Recipients.
The grant is aimed for community organizations or registered charities serving the county.
4 groups received support including the Perth County Transition Home for Women, North Perth Seniors Centre, Perth County 4H and the Humane Society of Kitchener-Waterloo and Stratford.
Each organization received $2500, the maximum grant amount for their projects.
Perth County Warden Rhonda Ehgoetz says the funding will help each group for important programming which provides valuable community services to the people across Perth County.
The Cultivating Opportunity Grant Program accepts new applications annually.
The application period will open on September 1st, 2023.
