Stratford Fire Chief John Paradis after more than 8 years of service will be leaving Stratford Fire who will be taking a role in London.
John took the time to thank the city and councilors during his last council meeting on Monday, giving thanks to Mayor Martin Ritsma and former Mayor Dan Mathieson.
John has taken a role as deputy city manager with the City of London.
