North Perth’s Homelessness Taskforce has launched a Care Kit Campaign.
The Kits, are funded with the help of the Salvation Army and are distributed by the North Perth OPP detachment.
Care Kits will be given to members when a person expresses the need for information to access resources in the area with the kits containing service maps, information, snacks, beverages and sunscreen.
The goal for the kits is to help those in need with resources which can guide them.
Gwnyeth Woods, Community and Family Services Director for the Salvation Army says the bags are an example of caring in action to work together and support those in need.
