Environment Canada has issued a heat warning across the area.
Temperatures could reach into the high 20’s and low 30’s with the humidity making it feel closer to as high as into the 40s.
The heat wave is expected to continue into Wednesday for the majority of southern Ontario as well as for Thursday in eastern parts.
Hot and humid air can also bring deteriorating air quality with heat warnings issued when the high temperature and humid conditions are expected to pose an elevated risk of things such as heat stroke or heat exhaustion.
