It Takes a Village Community Market has a new home.
The popular cash only market typically is held at Livingstone Park every other Saturday but council could not approve its location this year due to construction issues around Elma Street this summer.
Riverview Park has opened their lot for It Takes a Village to hold their market every Tuesday starting June 20th from 10am-12pm being set up along their Nelson Street entrance with parking available.
The market provides affordable, locally grown fresh fruits and vegetables to the community at prices marginally above cost.
