The Huron Residential Hospice has received $280,400 in funding from the provincial government.
Huron-Bruce MPP Lisa Thompson presented a cheque to the Hospice which will support individuals, families, service clubs and businesses and allow the Hospice to provide compassionate end of life care.
The donation comes after Minister of Health Sylvia Jones announced $10 million in new funding to support grief and bereavement services at hospices.
For the Huron Hospice, this means $75,000 in funding to support their programs.
