The Kinsmen Club of Stratford will no longer be running parades in the city.
In a letter to council the Kinsmen say they are disappointed the Canada Day parade will not be allowed to go down its usual route which ran through the downtown core.
Earlier this year the club was told both the Canada Day and Santa Claus parades would be co-hosted by other community groups.
The Kinsmen wrapped up, sending their thanks to those who supporting them over the past 30 years of holding parades and wishing the new organizers success.
