Heading into the long weekend, St Marys residents are being reminded the rules around fireworks.
Under the current town by law, fireworks can be set off by residents on Victoria Day and two days before and after so long as they are shot between dusk and 11pm.
Fireworks are only permitted on private property and not in places such as a building or park.
Fireworks can be sold for ten days prior to the holiday Monday.
