Mapleton Fire/Rescue is putting on a chicken dinner fundraiser next month.
The Moorefield station is selling a quarter and half chicken dinner for $12 and $20 respectively.
Advance tickets are only for sale ending on May 31st with the dinner going drive-thru style on June 7th with pick up from 5-7pm.
Proceeds from the dinner go back to supporting the family of the late Captain Andy MacDonald who passed away April 28th.
Andy was a captain with the fire department serving for 26 years.
The dinner includes chicken, coleslaw, fries and dessert.
