The Van Allen and Boertien families welcomed all at their first ever 65 Roses Gala at Maple Lane Haven on April 29th.
Both families have grown close to each other as both have kids who are diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis.
The Gala held at property in Brussels came with tons of community support with items for auctions both silent and live which was overwhelming says Shane Van Allen.
“They knew it was near and dear to our heart and then it just took off. Everybody was on board people were asking us what they could do to help instead of us coming to them it was phenomenal.” said Van Allen.
The total raised is still being figured out with the proceeds from the Gala going to support Cystic Fibrosis Canada.
