A request for funding to make updates to the History of Wallace Township book will be made to council this evening.
The History of Wallace was last published in 1990 by Eric Bender and now having been over 30 years since the publish, the working committee continues to hear inquiries about when an update will be made.
The updating of the book was scheduled in 2015 but delays were seen due to illness and then by the pandemic in 2020.
The goal is to sell 250 books at $50-60 each and to sell them online and in person at various events across the community.
