On March 31st at around 7:30pm, Wellington County OPP responded to a report of a family dispute in Centre Wellington.
It was reported there was a disturbance at the residence and an edged weapon was brandished.
As a result of investigation, an 18 year old from Centre Wellington has been charged with Sexual Assault on a Person Under 16, Assault with a Weapon and two counts of Assault.
The accused will appear in Guelph court on May 26th.
