On March 10th shortly after 9pm, Stratford Police were called to assist Perth County Paramedics after a male was found lying in the parking lot with head injuries.
Police identified the male as the owner of Stratford Variety and was taken to hospital with non life threatening injuries.
Surveillance of the incident showed the victim approached an unknown male who was urinating in the parking lot with an argument breaking out which escalated to the unknown male assaulting the victim before fleeing the scene.
The suspect is described as a black male, 6’2 in height with an average build, black facial hair with a trimmed beard and mustache wearing a black Ralph Lauren hooded vest, black long sleeve shirt, black ball cap, black sweatpants with black shoes.
