St Marys is rolling out a new free shower program for anyone in need.
Running from the Pyramid Recreation Centre, the program offers free showers to anyone in need with private, secure and accessible facilities for those of all abilities.
Brittany Petrie, St Mary’s Community Outreach Worker says many people take having as hot shower for granted, with many across the community not having access to a shower and with this program, helps fill the gap.
Showers will be available for use on Tuesdays from 9am-1pm and can be accessed from the Guest Service desk.
Toiletries will be provided but towels are not available.
