West Perth Continues Looking Into Budget Numbers

Another look at the budget for West Perth has some high hopes for an increase keeping the tax rate at just single digits, a much better sign from the original 12 per cent proposal previously seen.

Some suggestions flying look at a six per cent tax rate hike but Deputy Mayor Dean Trentowsky looks more towards 7 per cent to keep up with inflation.

There are currently 31 capital projects planned for the year coming in at a cost of $4.8 million.

Numbers are still being punched before a final budget can make its way back to council for March 20th.
