The Provincial Human Trafficking Intelligence led Joint Forces Strategy (IJFS) alongside other police services shared human trafficking statistics to show the work done with human trafficking investigations.
Since the IJFS creation in December 2021, the 21 police services completed 65 investigations, assisted 61 victims, laid 72 human trafficking charges, 167 additional charges with 28 people charged.
Victims ranged from 12-47 years old while the accused ranged from 18-44 years old.
All victims were provided with support with the OPP or local victims services.
