An Upper Grand District School Board Music Teacher has been nominated for the MusiCounts Teacher of the Year Award.
Kelly Stronach, who teaches at Mitchell Woods Public School in Guelph is nominated for the award that recognizes and honours an exceptional music teacher’s impact on both students at their school and the broader music education profession.
This is the second time she has been nominated with her being nominated in 2022 as well.
She is one of 5 Canadian music teachers nominated for the award.
The UGDSB says it is so proud to have educators that create positive spaces to work and learn.
The winner will be announced at the Juno Awards in March.
