The South Bruce Grey Health Centre has announced due to a lack of staff the Chesley emergency department will see another closure.
The emergency department will remain closed all day until reopening at 7am on Friday.
The health centre says many measures were taken to ensure staff could remain but were unsuccessful.
Ambulances will remain available for 24 hour service and will be re-routed to the nearest emergency department.
