Perth County OPP on January 28th just before 8pm stopped a vehicle on St Andrew Street in West Perth which the officer at the scene knew to be owned and operated by a suspended driver.
While speaking with the driver the officer had reason to believe the driver was impaired by a drug.
The driver was arrested after a field sobriety test and taken for further evaluation.
As a result a 65 year old from West Perth was charged with Operation While Impaired.
The accused will appear in Stratford court at a later date.
