Huron Perth Public Health shared word that February 1st on Wednesday is winter walk day.
It is a Canada-wide annual event that encourages students to get outside and walk/wheel to and from school safely.
HPPH says that time outside helps with mental health, exercise and social well-bring.
They say to get outside because its snow much fun.
