The Township of Centre Wellington sent out a remind to residents on its Fireworks By-Law.
They advise that the sale and discharge of fireworks is only permitted on Victoria Day and Canada Day.
Setting them off at any other time during the year is strictly prohibited.
They say if anyone observes fireworks being discharged in a time they aren’t permitted they are asked to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 if it is outside regular business hours or Municipal Law Enforcement Services at 519-846-9691 ext. 237 if during regular business hours.
