To say its been a hot start for the Mount Forest Patriots in the Provincial Junior Hockey League, that would be an understatement.
It was 11 straight games to kick off the season for Mount Forest who rode on their win streak until it came to a slight detour of a tie against the Mitchell Hawks on October 30th.
Their first loss of the season wouldn’t come until November 12th when they dropped their match 3-2 to the Hanover Barons.
As it would stand for the rest of November, Hanover was the only team to solve the Patriots who in early December were eventually handed a loss from the Mitchell Hawks.
Among the entire league, Caleb Cribben sits in the top 10 with points, top 15 in goals and assists also within the top 15.
The standings race is the Pollock division remains tight between the Mitchell Hawks, Wingham Ironman and the Hanover Barons, though its Mount Forest who remains on top with a lead among the others. In the 60 team league, the Patriots sit within the top 10.
