A long-standing business in the Listowel area has made a generous donation to the Listowel Memorial Hospital Foundation.
The William & Lynne Gray Foundation has donated $610,000 toward the renovations and expansion of the Fisher Family Primary Care Centre in Listowel.
Bill Gray says the family has been in the area since 1972, 50 years. They have donated in the past to create an Isolation Room at Listowel Hospital.
“The area, the people, the employees we’ve had, the farms suppliers we’ve had have been good to us. We’re delighted to give back to the community that has been so good to us.”
The Grays and the namesake Fisher Family, in particular Bert Fisher, have a history of business together says Bill and the fact that the connection can now that can continue with the donation.
