Fundraising continues towards Listowels Memorial Arena Park project.
With the goal from the fundraising committee set at $1.5 million, the town has now opened up online donations from the municipality website.
The park will be built at the site of the old arena in town where the roof collapsed on February 28th 1959 killing seven boys, one adult and injuring 13.
The park will pay memory to the family and community members involved as well as expand as another place to gather in Listowel.
The current funds raised is just under $25,000 as of Tuesday morning.
