If you frequently head down the trail in town and park your vehicle on Riverview Drive, you may need to make an adjustment.
Council tonight will discuss parking restrictions on the street as currently there is no restriction on parking for the area as staff are proposing trail users and other who wish to park on the street to move out before the trail mark itself on the street.
Council first needs to amend a section of the Traffic Bylaw before any restrictions can be done which is proposed to be from the southern limit of Leisure Lane to the westerly limit of the driveway at 650 Riverview Drive.
The public has voiced their concerns on the area with hopes to restrict parking to increase motorist site lines and be safer for pedestrian crossing.
