OPP charge drivers on Closed Highway 6 in Centre Wellington

One of the vehicles stopped was an unloaded school bus that police say almost struck a hydro worker.

The Wellington County OPP, through the OPP West Region Social Media account, shared word of drivers being charged for driving on a closed road.

They say four drivers were ticketed for driving on Highway 6 between Sideroad 18 and 19 while it was closed for Centre Wellington Hydro repairs.

One of the vehicles stopped was an unloaded school bus that police say almost struck a hydro worker.

They advise to not drive on closed roads.
