The Seniors Centre for Excellence shared word to the Township of Mapleton community a generous act by the Drayton Pharmacy to allow the facility to fundraise with a fundraising jar.
They updated residents today saying that due to this act the Christmas Stocking project with nearly $150 toward Christmas stocking gifts for some seniors in their community that may need an extra Christmas hug.
The group says that more often then not, its not what’s in the stocking that counts, but more knowing that someone cares enough to give.
