Howick Township is preparing to ring in the season with it’s Festival of Lights on Saturday, November 26th.
They invite everyone to the Howick Community Centre from 1 to 10 pm to join them for some festive fun for all ages.
The events include horse & carriage rides, face painting and kids games, a Pepper & Euchre Tournament, Free Family Skate, a Walk or Drive-Thru Parade, a Wing Night and Fireworks closing out the night at the Soccer Field.
Howick is also holding a Christmas Decorating Contest for properties within the Township. Entries need to be submitted by December 12th at 9am.
Judging will occur on December 16th & 17th between 5 and 9 pm.
There are prizes for each village and also for those outside village limits.
