The Upper Grand District School Board has elected Ralf Mesenbrink as the new board chair who is the trustee for Wards 2,3 and 4.
Mesenbrink who will be chair for the first time was also elected as trustee during the October board elections with the board chair position being a one year term.
Mesenbrink says together as a board and organization they are many tasks ahead for them with the working starting right away.
Director of Education for the school board, Peter Sovran says he looks forward to working together to realize Vision 2026 as outlined in the new multi year plan.
