The Stratford Police Service sent out word of a lockdown at Stratford District Secondary School during the noon hour today.
They advised the public to stay clear of the school as the force actively investigated a possible weapons call at the location.
Less than an hour later Stratford Police issued a lifting of a lockdown advising they had a male suspect in custody.
The force says the investigation continues and report no injuries.
