Local results from EQAO testing continue to see a positive despite the provincial scores being lower than usual.

Across the Huron-Perth Catholic District School Board, students finished in the top 20 per cent in the province from testing.

The math, reading and writing assessments were done this past spring for the first time since the pandemic.

Overall, school boards saw their struggles with results as students had to work around remote learning.

Huron-Perth Catholic District School Board Director of Education, Chris Roehrig says they had an edge as they were able to provide Chromebook laptops for students to assist them in transitioning faster.
