North Perth council will return to the chambers on November 7th with the election wrapped up with one new face to represent the Wallace Ward.
Noordam, who currently farms with his wife alongside his parents operate a moderate sized dairy operation with some crops a small herd of sheep.
Noordam who has also worked with the municipality in operating snow removal equipment is set to start his term in council.
Noordam says another farmer in council can bring great things to the rural areas
“Well it doesn’t hurt to have another farmer on council. Especially when it comes to taxes and rural services such as improving on roads, infrastructure, widening roads and overall maintenance in the rural areas” said Noordam.
Noordam adds among the things need to be addressed locally, he stresses the importance of ensuring healthcare support with more medical staff.
