The Municipality of West Perth advised its residents this morning that the Keterson Pavilion was coming down today.
They say that the pavilion served the community for almost 30 years and is set to be replaced by a full accessible facility.
The new Keterson Park & Pavilion is a $1.8 million dollar project with $812,500 awarded from the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program Federal Grant.
The remaining $400,000 is hoped to be raised by donations, sponsorship and naming rights.
