A chicken barn was destroyed with no animals lost or any injuries reported in a fire last weekend.
Minto Fire firefighters were joined alongside Mapleton and Wellington North fire who all responded to the blaze on Wellington Road 6 on October 22nd at around 8:30pm.
Firefighters were on the scene for around 5 hours who were able to contain the fire which is said to have been accidental.
The cost of the damages is not yet known.
