The Kitchen Cupboard and Icebox held their annual Soups On fundraiser earlier this month.
Soup, both served hot and in buckets frozen were available for purchase with proceeds supporting the Listowel Memorial Hospital.
The fundraiser, held from October 6-8th brought in $644 in support for the hospital.
Owner Karen Havercamp says the support was overwhelming including sharing the frozen buckets for some who may otherwise have had to miss out.
“We were happy to see the support and especially for the frozen buckets of soup, they were able to take them home, give them to friends or give them to people who can’t get out of their house.” said Havercamp.
The annual fundraiser has been running since 2008 supporting the importance of the hospital within the community.
