After school programming at Maryborough Public School in Moorefield is on the verge of being pulled.
The township is planning to slow down the before and after school care program at the school which has been offered since the school year started.
While opening registration numbers looked good, it has dipped over time and issues of cost effectiveness have come into question.
If the program is to be canceled, families will be given time ahead to be informed and plan to look at new programs nearby such as Drayton which has one doing well.
It’s likely a decision will be made by the end of the month.
