The soup is back on with the return of the October Souper Fundraiser at the Kitchen Cupboard & Icebox in Listowel.
The event is run in support of the Listowel Memorial Hospital Foundation.
Owner Karen Havercamp says the reason behind it is simple.
“Every bowl of soup we sell $1 goes to the hospital, and every bucket of soup we sell $2 goes to the hospital. We just figured the hospital is just so important to our community. It’s a fundraiser we’ve been doing every year for that reason.”
Walk-in and group pre-orders are being accepted now.
Soups will be available for pickup from October 6th to 8th.
The soups up for order include Loaded Potato, KCI Tomato and Chicken Noodle.
